A T-nut, also known as a tee nut or blind nut, is a fastening component designed for use in wood, composite, or soft materials where a strong threaded insert is required.
It features a cylindrical barrel with machine-cut internal threads, a flat round flange at one end, and three or four prongs extending from the flange underside.
When hammered or pressed into a pre-drilled hole, the prongs embed into the material, preventing the nut from rotating and allowing a bolt or threaded rod to be screwed in securely.
This model is made from zinc-plated carbon steel, offering a bright finish and corrosion protection for long-term durability.
Common applications include furniture construction, cabinetry, climbing walls, and equipment mounts, where flush and secure fastening is needed.
